Not everyone loves having their photo taken. In this age of selfies and endless filters on photo Apps, we can tweak and change what we look like very easily. It's fun and we can share those images easily and quickly. However, when it comes to having a photo you can use in your professional life, or something you want to get printed for your walls it's worth investing in a professional portrait photoshoot, even if you've never had one done before!
Li-Ann knew she needed some updated shots for her professional life and I was thrilled to do these for her! Like many of us, Li-Ann was not used to having photos taken by someone else and was a little nervous, but I think you will agree with me that the results are stunning! Her decision to put her trust in me and let me guide her through the process meant she was put at ease and able to relax and enjoy the shoot. I provided a comprehensive guide on how to prepare and what to do to get photo-ready. Good preparation is key to great results, this is true for many things and especially true for a photoshoot.
This is what Li-Ann had to say about her photoshoot:
"I had long admired the photos Arabella was sharing on her facebook pages. I felt they came across as contemporary, professional and warm.
Although based in Melbourne, I was in Sydney for a conference and noticed Arabella’s promotional offer which spurned me into action to see if I could arrange a photo shoot. It’s been ages since I had professional photos done and while considering the next step in my career, I thought a refresh of my profile photos would be a great opportunity.
Arabella made the whole process really informative and made me feel at ease. From the pre-shoot information pack, our initial briefing call, to even going the extra mile in helping me sort out a hair appointment beforehand, she really removed any nervousness I had and I trusted her judgement.
Arabella suggested some great ideas about locations and types of shots for use now and in the future. During the shoot, she really made me feel at ease and was always encouraging, positive, supportive and fun! After the shoot, Arabella kept me informed of progress in finalising my photos and when I would expect to receive them.
I would recommend Arabella to anyone wanting to have a suite of photos that really are authentic and convey a warmth and contemporary style."
