Arabella Futcher Photography is based in Balmain, Sydney and specialises in modern lifestyle portraits of families, newborns, babies and children. Lifestyle personal branding portrait sessions are also available.
Photographic sessions are held on location or at your home using natural available light.
Standard Session Fees
For a standard family photoshoot, the session fee is $200 for a weekday session and $250 for a weekend. All standard photoshoots include a fun and relaxed shoot with me, (there is no time limit placed on the session) and your images curated to the best 30-40 images, professionally retouched. You can expect the session to last between 1-1.5 hours, depending on the age of the children. The session fee is payable at the time of booking in order to secure your session date and time. Prints & Digital Collections
Framed prints, an album for grandparents or your own digital files, I have many different options! Individual prints start at $80. High resolution digital collections start at $850 and can be purchased in sets of 5, 12, 18 or the full set. The complete digital collection includes proof prints of every colour photograph from your session and all high resolution images provided in black & white and colour on USB. You will get to see an online preview gallery of all your images before you decide exactly what to order.

What to Expect
Children grow so fast and change all the time, so there is no time like the present to book in for a photoshoot and capture your little (or big) ones and create those family memories.
Maternity and newborn photography can go hand in hand, so it's possible to book a combined package in the last few months of your pregnancy if you like.
My style is fun and the aim of the photoshoot is to capture you and your family in a way that is meaningful to you. It is just as much about the candid moments as it is about getting that classic family shot. Download my detailed guide here.
Where Should We Hold Our Shoot?
Baby photography often works well indoors at home where is it relaxed, comfortable and convenient. Your home does not need to be something out of Vogue – the rooms just need to have good natural light.
For older children and family photography, location shoots tend to work better, with more room to run around and explore! Urban locations are great for lots of colours and textures and I love waterside locations for the gorgeous muted background tones that go with all wardrobe choices!
So choose your home or your favourite scenic location for your photoshoot, or I can suggest locations if you prefer. You would be surprised at the great images you can get in your backyard or in the street outside your home, so don’t worry if you don’t have a water side location close to you!
It can be a great idea to bring some props or think about things that are special to you and your family. At the time of booking, I will provide more details about what to wear and chat with you about what happens on the day.
You can expect to receive your photos for preview approximately 2-3 weeks after your shoot.
