Preparing for a family sunset beach shoot | Arabella Futcher Photography

What a spectacular evening we were gifted for this sunset beach photoshoot! This family were very keen to have photos together. With one part of the family recently returned from living overseas, it was the perfect time to get photos! Evening beach shoots are great with older kids, (babies and sand can be a bit tricky!) so if you are thinking of a beach shoot here are a few tips:

- Be prepared to get your feet wet, and maybe a little bit more!

- Bring a towel or two and if you have any particularly active kids maybe a change of clothes in case they get splashed.

- Be prepared to have your shoot barefoot, get your toenails done if you fancy!

- Bring your sense of fun! The beach environment encourages a playful vibe.
